And Trump refuses to commit that he won't rescind the money if appropriated.
Who's to blame? The same white supremacist voters, over 77 million of them, who enabled Trump 2.0, that's who.

They've sold their soul to consultants who believe that Joe Manchin and Jared Golden are the ideal to which all candidates should aspire -- resulting in a party in charge that can't pass anything.
Meanwhile, sure, Trump would be happy to end the filibuster so that his pawns vote through his whims (he's confident that the maps, intimidation, and structural imbalance in the Senate will keep the Congress in GOP hands. But with or without the filibuster he's ruling without a functioning Congress.
All of this adds to my belief that there is now only one party, the demopublicans. I am continuely amazed that few people see our slip into fascism paralleling what happened in the 1930s. As Jorge Santayana said: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
