There is an event in Washington Courthouse, Ohio, this weekend that should be of interest to many readers of Letters to a Free Country, because of the subject of the debate being held there on Saturday, but also because two different past (and future, we hope) guest essayists on Letters… will be debating each other. (Confession time: though I like and respect one of them—Jay Lucas—I’ll be pulling strongly for the other, Michael E. Buckner, who I have loved and respected deeply for over fifty years).

This Saturday, March 16, AFS will have a Watch Party for the debate that our own Michael Buckner will participate in. You are welcome to come to AFS Hall at 4775 N. Church Lane SE in Atlanta for the viewing of the debate on our big screen! The debate starts at 6:00pm. The party starts at 5:30pm.
Some details:
The debate will be at the Cultural Apologetics Conference at Grace Community Church in Washington Court House, Ohio. See details at: Grace Community Church | Conference.
The Senior Pastor of the church there, Rev. Jay Lucas, will debate with Michael Buckner on the subject—
America's Foundational Documents: Christian or Secular?
We will be able to see the debate via a YouTube Live Event. If you would rather watch the debate at home, go to YouTube.com online and search for @gracecommunitychurch-wchoh4037.
AFS will supply drinks, but you are welcome to bring snacks and drinks as you like.
See you there!
